2nd International Symposium on Ethnomusicology and Ethnochoreology

The 2nd International Symposium on Ethnomusicology and Ethnochoreology (ISEE) is dedicated to the study of music and dance as inter-reliant and mutually significant discourses of research and documentation for local performing arts that are seen as an entity, where music and dance intermingle and complement each other. This symposium aims to bridge the inseparability of music and dance in the study of indigenous performing arts. Collectively, this Symposium will bring together scholars of music and dance from the ethnological perspective adding to the diversity of multiple trajectories in the fields of Ethnomusicology and Ethnochoreology.
Duration: The Symposium will be held in a single day with two consecutive sessions.
Speakers: Renowned scholars, young academics and graduate students in the above mentioned fields will be invited as paper presenters, dialog partners and discussants.
Publication: Papers will be included in a monograph publication or in Tirai Panggung Journal after re-submission and peer-review process are completed.
