A book on the conference proceedings will be published within a period of twelve months after the conference. A post-conference call for publication will be announced to all conference presenters for them to re-submit their manuscripts for peer-review process. It is suggested that this publication will be a joint publication between the Cultural Centre University of Malaya and the National Department for Culture and Arts, Ministry of Information, Communication and Culture, following precedents from previous joint publications.
Two books and a conference proceeding were produced from the 2003, 2005 and 2008 conferences published by the Cultural Centre University of Malaya and the Ministry of Culture, Arts and Heritage Malaysia (Ministry of Information, Communication and Culture of Malaysia), which have now become important resource materials for dance studies in Malaysia and abroad.
