11th INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON CONCRETE ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY
CONCET is a biennial international conference organized by the Department of Civil Engineering, University of Malaya (UM), Institution of Engineers Malaysia (IEM) and Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM). The conference is conducted on a rotational basis.
CONCET aims to bring together engineers, construction practitioners, scientists and researchers to share their knowledge, expertise and experience in concrete engineering and technology.
Advances in concrete engineering and technology are the centerpieces of CONCET 2012. The conference is intended to provide fresh perspectives on latest developments in concrete engineering and technology.
The conference also aims to provide a forum to discuss related research, methodologies, directions and other important issues of concrete engineering and technology.
Special emphasis will be given to green technology, sustainable materials, robust designs as well as maintenance and repair of concrete structures. Most of the recent reported findings in the area of concrete engineering and technology will be discussed in utilizing this knowledge for the development of sustainable and durable concrete.
