  Aim & Scope

We live in a multi-ethnic world with diverse cultures, belief systems, values and languages.  Effective communication is vital in order to achieve greater understanding amongst fellow human beings.  The challenge is that even with all the goodwill, miscommunication occurs.  Such miscommunication leads to conflicts, or aggravates conflicts that already exist in cross-cultural communication.

The International Conference on Cross-Cultural Communication (ICoCCC) therefore aims at bringing together researchers, academics and practitioners interested in the area of cross-cultural communication to critically analyze contemporary issues related to cross-cultural communication in the region and in the world at large, and to suggest solutions to achieve more effective communication across cultures.

We encourage authors from various disciplines to submit papers on one of the themes indicated below, describing original work and/or survey papers, reporting research results indicating future directions to the challenges of cross cultural communication.  Theoretical and conceptual papers applied within the given themes of cross cultural communication are also acceptable.
