  Aim & Scope

The International Conference on Ethnic Relations 2008 (ICoER) is a multidiciplinary conference aimed at bringing together researchers and practitioners interested in the area of ethnic relations.

The world in the 21st century is filled with various conflicts and contradictions and many international and regional conflicts are closely related to national-ethnic groups. Civil wars, ethnic tension or misunderstanding have occured over ethnic issues. It is hoped that this conference can help to introduce new concepts and ideas by reputed scholars, which help to foster better ties among different ethnic groups accross nations.

We encourage authors from various disciplines to submit papers on one of the topics indicated below, describing original work, including techniques, or survey papers, reporting research results and/or indicating future directions to ethnic conflict resolutions in a range of settings. Analyses of all aspects of ethnic relations are welcome, including those within applied and professional areas such as business, education, environment, health, and law.
