The 1st International Symposium on Ethnomusicology and Ethnochoreology (ISEE) is dedicated to the study of music and dance as inter-reliant and mutually significant discourses of research and documentation for local performing arts that are seen as an entity, where music and dance intermingle and complement each other. This symposium aims to bridge the inseparability of music and dance in the study of indigenous performing arts. Collectively, this Symposium will bring together scholars of music and dance from the ethnological perspective adding to the diversity of multiple trajectories in the fields of Ethnomusicology and Ethnochoreology.
