We welcome abstracts for oral or poster presentations in English or Malay. Abstracts should be between 250-300 words, and should indicate which conference theme they belong to. Please use this template for your abstract submission.
Deadlines for submission of abstracts: 30 June 2017 (1st call) and 31 July 2017 (2nd call).
Selected papers will be published in the Journal of Modern Languages, a peer-reviewed journal published by the Faculty of Languages and Linguistics, University of Malaya. The papers may require further review and editing before actual publication.
In order to submit your abstract, you need to register online.
Click on "Online Registration" on the top left of the conference page and provide the necessary information. Once you have registered, a registration confirmation letter will be sent to your email.

To submit an abstract, you should sign up a presenter, not a participant. If you have not done this, please change your role in your online registration or re-register as a presenter.
Login to the "Participant Login" (on the top left of the conference page) with your username and password. Click on the "Abstract" toolbar and then "New". Provide the information needed. Click "Journal Article" for "Category". Upload your Abstract using the required template. Fill in the "Author Information".
Authors will be notified by 31 July 2017 of abstract acceptance (1st call) and 30 August 2017 (2nd call).
