  Welcome Message

Dear dental colleague,

Welcome you to the Restorative Dentistry Professorial Talks and Workshops 2017. These are exciting times for Department of Restorative Dentistry, Faculty of Dentistry, University Malaya. We continue to grow, adapt, and continually respond to changing technology and new knowledge in restorative dentistry. There are many changes in our field and we meet these changes during a time of national and global change. The world of Restorative Dentistry is and has remained an exciting area in which new concepts, techniques, cutting edge technology and available products, make it possible for us to provide the best treatment outcome to the patients.  The ease of use of these materials is made possible by new technology and improved handling properties. We take great pleasure in organizing this lecture/workshop and are committed to provide future continuing education courses to dental practitioners. Therefore, it is a privilege for us to have renowned speakers Professor Hugh Devlin, from University of Manchester, United Kingdom and Professor Paul Brunton and Professor Warwick Duncan from University of Otago, New Zealand here in Malaysia to share their clinical, knowledge skills and experiences.

I would like to give you an idea of what you can expect and what we hope to achieve in this event. In this participant information pack, you will find the tentative program which contains the morning lectures and two workshops in the afternoon, namely Occlusion by Prof Hugh Devlin and Posterior Composite by Prof Paul Brunton.

I would like to thank you for attending our Lectures and Workshops. We could not accomplish what we do without your support. Hopefully you will enjoy the event and have a fruitful day.

Thank you once again.

Dr. Lim Ghee Seong
