  Guidelines for Paper Submission/Poster/Oral Presentation

Guidelines for Paper Submission
Authors are encouraged to submit full papers describing original, previously unpublished, complete research, not currently under review by another conference or journal, addressing one of the topics/area interests. The full paper should be including concise title, author’s names, affiliations, e-mail address, figures/tables, acknowledgements and references. The abstract should be consisting of a brief introduction, rationale, approach/methodology, results/expected findings of the work undertaken and a list of key references. Click here for the templates for full paper. Use the following guideline to guide you through the paper preparation.
Papers should be in English
  • A4-size paper must be used
  • The maximum length is strictly not exceeding 6 double-column pages
  • Abstract must not exceed 200 words
  • List of 3~5 keywords
  • Final full paper must be submitted electronically both in MS Word and PDF format.
Accepted papers have to be presented (POSTER or ORAL) by at least one of the authors is included in the regular registration fee.
 
Abstract/Paper Submission to the MISA5
All abstracts and full papers must be submitted via electronic. Please use the following step-by-step to guide you through the abstract/paper submission process.
 
1. Online Registration
Please log on to http://umconference.um.edu.my/misa5 and click online registration to fill in the registration form. 
 
IMPORTANT NOTE
All participants has to register as ‘PRESENTER’ to enable the submission of abstract/ full paper.

2. Submit the Abtract/Full Paper
To submit a abstract/paper, click 'Participant Login' to sign in to your account. Subsequently, click 'Abstarct/Full Paper’ on the top of page, then click 'New' from the drop-down list. New Submission for MISA5 will be appeared. Follow the instructions, step by step, and then use the “Submit” button at the bottom of the form. Fill in the title, name, institution, abstract fields and keywords. 
 
3. Upload the Full Paper
We need your final full paper, both in MS Word and PDF. After submission you can also modify your full paper content (resubmit) until the deadline.

Guidelines for Oral Presentation
The maximum time limit for Oral Presentation is 15 minutes and the Question & Answer is 5 minutes.

Guidelines for Poster
Dimensions of the poster are 115 cm height and 77 cm wide (45 inches height and 30 inches wide). Posters should be attached by velcro (provided) to the poster board.
